Carrie was invited to become part of the elite institution by Randy Travis after her Opry performance in March. She says, "One thing that I've always loved about country music is it pays tribute to its history -- it honors the people that came before. I love that thought. I love that feeling. And I love being a part of something that honors those traditions."
