Connor got the role through Tom's Best Friend Forever Will Smith. Not only will he appear in Smith's drama Seven Pounds, which co-stars Woody Harrelson and Rosario Dawson, but he'll play a young version of Smith's character in the film. Connor supposedly had to audition for the part. Don't believe it.
