Dierks: No Gas Guzzler

Dierks Bentley still has his '94 Chevy Pick-up truck, but with soaring gas prices, he tools around town in wife Cassidy's car. He tells Alabama's Birmingham News, "My friends from high school would probably give me grief because I'm sitting in a Prius. I'm still that same guy, with the same guitar I had when I came to town. But this car was cheap -- 22-thousand dollars -- and it's getting 50 miles per gallon. I try to keep my singer's hat on, but I do feel responsible for what happens on the road." |
