Escape with Kenny Chesney

Kenny Chesney stopped by C-B-S's The Early Show in New York yesterday to chat with weather anchor and features reporter Dave Price and to hand out copies of his latest album to the fans who lined up in the Plaza to see him. Kenny, who has been drawing sell-out crowds to his Poets and Pirates Tour, told Dave that fans come to his show as an escape from their troubles. "I've had people tell me all year they look at our show as an event, as something to forget about gas prices, something to forget about what's going on in that area of their life. That's a huge compliment to me." Kenny, who attended Major League Baseball's All-Star Game last night, heads to Washington D-C to sing the national anthem at the 2008 Tee Ball on the South Lawn All Star Game at the White House. |
