My adorable friend Steph and her hubby are preparing for the birth of their first baby next month. I'm so excited for them! Steph is the first of my friends to have a baby, so the reality of parenthood is setting in! I haven't killed any plants lately, so maybe I have a chance at this "mommy thing" myself (ridiculous rationalization, I know; but it's all about taking baby steps... :-b )
Anyway, what is it about pregnancy that makes you so adorable? I guess Steph may beg to differ — trust me, I've heard many less-than-elegant stories that would make you blush! Still, I've noticed lately that most of these women have a beautiful glow to them. Even when Steph feels awful, she's still cute as ever :-).
On that note — did you see Kimberly from Little Big Town at the Martina McBride concert in W-B recently? We were around her last stop on the tour because she's in her final trimester. There she was, performing her little heart out, rocking the maternity dress and HIGH KNEE BOOTS! See! Who says you can't be pregnant AND fashionable!!!
...BTW, all this baby talk, I just want to clarify with a disclaimer: I AM NOT PREGNANT!! ....carry on, and "have a good one!"
