Jewel Gives Back

Jewel has signed on to be a judge and mentor for the sixth season of Nashville Star. She says, "I'm so excited to be part of Nashville Star, to help mentor young artists and cultivate their singing, songwriting and playing and to encourage and continue that tradition." Jewel herself was mentored and encouraged by such artists as Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Merle Haggard early in her career. Nashville Star, which has moved from the U-S-A Network to N-B-C, premieres on June 9th. |
