Marilyn Monroe, who starred in Some Like It Hot, also starred in something even hotter -- a 15-minute sex tape. But your chances of seeing the black-and-white film are slim. A wealthy New York City businessman recently paid a million-and-a-half dollars for it, with the intention of locking it away forever. A memorabilia collector, who arranged the sale from the son of an the F-B-I informant who had the original copy, claims that F-B-I director J. Edgar Hoover knew about the film. He says Hoover made unsuccessful efforts to prove that Monroe's co-star, whose face is never seen, was President John F. Kennedy. He also claims that Joe DiMaggio tried to buy the film of his ex-wife for 25-thousand dollars, but the original owner "would not part with it." |
