A Texas woman has accused Miranda Lambert of assault after an alleged incident on Saturday night at the Bootleggers club in Tyler, Texas. According to the Houston Chronicle, Aisha Esbay told police that she confronted Miranda regarding ill treatment of other patrons when the star jumped up, began swearing and said that Esbay was "in the V-I-P section and needed to go back with the other trailer trash." Esbay claims that Miranda then shoved her several times. Smith County Sherriff Lieutenant Larry Wiginton says the star hasn't been charged, but if evidence does confirm an assault, she could face Class C misdemeanor charges. Representatives from Miranda's camp declined our request for comment. |
