Hardcore Jewel fans from her pre-country days are disappointed that her opening slot on the Brad Paisley tour doesn't give her much time onstage. She writes in her online journal, "It's a bummer in a lotta ways for me too. I promise I will do a regular tour -- probably solo acoustic -- soon. Maybe between albums." She writes that promoting the country album has been a lot or work, but the result has been worth it. Jewel says that she will be putting out her own album before her next album for her label is due. She says the C-D, which will have less instrumentation than her current album, will probably be out sometime in March.
