Brad Paisley's wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, has written a book to encourage kids to eat their veggies. The book is part of the nationwide Love Your Veggies campaign, which is being launched in elementary schools. Kimberly co-wrote the book, Henry and the Hidden Veggie Garden with her father, Gurney Williams the Third. The story is about a boy who only eats pizza and burgers, and then discovers he likes vegetables when he visits his aunt's farm. The book even includes a character named "Huck" -- after Brad and Kimberly's 18-month old son William Huckleberry. The book is available online at LoveYourVeggiesGrants-dot-org. All proceeds from the book go to Books From the Heart -- a program that gives children who live in poverty the tools they need to succeed. |
