Paul Newman's agent has two words for rumors that the 83-year-old acting legend is terminally ill with lung cancer -- "not true." Reports that "Butch Cassidy" has been ill with something have been rampant for months, but were kicked up a notch a few weeks ago, when he backed out as director of a local Connecticut stage production of Of Mice and Men. And even more last week, when Martha Stewart posted photos on her blog of her posing with a gaunt Newman at a recent charity event for his Hole in the Wall Gang Camp for ill children. |
