Ronnie Dunn Turning Point
|
|
There was a time when Ronnie Dunn was so full of despair that questioned his decision to pursue music. He tells Country Weekly magazine that before finding fame with Kix Brooks, he fell to his knees in a field in Oklahoma where was working in 106-degree heat and thought, "I'm either going to make it in the music business or I have ruined my life. I don't know where to go or what to do." As Ronnie started walking down the road, his wife drove up to him and told him that a music executive from Nashville called and wanted to have Asleep at the Wheel record "Boot Scootin' Boogie." It was just the sign Ronnie needed to forge ahead with his dream of being a singer and songwriter. |
