Thank you for all the great calls and emails on getting our first pet! Ethan and I agreed that "Fozzy" (because he looks like a fuzzy bear) will have to be neutered before we bring him home. Picture to come!
I have to share with you an email from Danielle and her cat, "KITTY CHESNEY"!!!! You can't beat a name like that!

Hi, Selena. You guys are hilarious. Okay I am a HUGE cat lover. They are not that much work, but if you are getting an older cat it might already be trained for a litter pan. Also a spray bottle of water is a wonderful thing. We got new furniture not even a year ago and when ever the cats came near it we sprayed them. Now when they see me pick up that spray bottle they run. Another idea is to just get them declawed.
And Doc made a comment about that "if you have a cat in the house the mice will stay away." Sorry that is not true. A year and a half ago I had to call the fire dept. b/c my oven was on fire inside and it had a horrible smell. Well guess what. There was about 3 cups of cat food in there that the mouse had stored. It was underneath where the flames light. So I couldn\'t see it. Thankfully nothing tragic happened. I got a beautiful new over thanks to that mouse. When you see my cats you will see that they are not very ambitious.
