Trace plays himself in a scene in which he helps "Nick Newman" surprise his wife "Phyllis" on their first anniversary by singing his recent number-one hit "You're Gonna Miss This." Trace says he had a great time shooting his scene -- and as a bonus, he got to meet Drew Carey, who was shooting The Price Is Right in the studio next door.
