More than 10 years after Princess Diana and her boyfriend, Dodi Fayed, died in a car wreck in Paris, a jury in London concluded that the two were killed -- by a combination of the "grossly negligent driving" of their chauffeur and the paparazzi pursuing their car. But Diana and Dodi weren't completely faultless -- the jury decided that by not wearing their seatbelts they contributed to their own demise. The results of the six-month, 12-million-dollar inquest effectively implies driver Henri Paul, who also died in the wreck, and an unnamed band of paparazzi committed manslaughter. |
