Actor Wesley Snipes was sentenced to the maximum three years in prison for willfully failing to file federal tax returns. He allegedly failed to pay $15.6 million in income taxes over six years. Wesley turned over the maximum five-million-dollar fine to the court, and apologized for his mistakes.
The Blade star presented more than 30 letters attesting to his good character, including thumbs-up from his White Men Can't Jump co-star Woody Harrelson and T-V Judge Joe Brown. |
