If you had a choice between saving your wife or saving your expensive hairpiece, which would you choose? According to his former brother-in-law, William Shatner chose the toupee. Howard Kidd is reportedly shopping a book about his sister Nerine's mysterious death in 1999. Kidd claims that Shatner knew his wife was an alcoholic and had been warned by her A-A sponsor never to leave her alone. But one time he left her at home, only to find her at the bottom of the pool. Rather than jump in and pull her out, "Captain Kirk" called 9-1-1. Kidd says Shatner didn't want to ruin his new 25-thousand-dollar wig. |
